Symposium proposal submissions

Expressions of interest are sought for symposia to be presented at ISPE’s 17^th Asian Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology to be held from 21—23 November 2025 at The University of Hong Kong.

The ACPE17 Program committee encourage submissions from ISPE members with expertise in pharmacoepidemiology digital applications, particularly those applying artificial intelligence to the work of our discipline.

Six such symposia will be accepted for inclusion in the program for ACPE17. These symposia will be programmed on either Saturday 22 November or Sunday 23 November 2025.

Each symposium will be of strictly ninety minutes duration and can be expected to include a maximum of six speakers whose contributions will be of interest to a substantial proportion of ACPE registrants.

ACPE17 will be held as in-person conference only.

Standard audio visual equipment will be provided: lectern, microphone, desktop computer and LED screen.

The symposium lead author and speakers are required to fund their own registration and travel expenses. Full conference registration will be available via the on-line registration portal.

All symposium proposals will be evaluated by the ISPE-ACPE2025 Program Committee. Decisions on symposia to be included in the program will be final. These decisions will be notified to the lead author of the symposium on Friday 29 August 2025.

The lead author of each accepted symposium will be responsible for ensuring that by Friday 26 September 2025 each of their symposium speakers is registered to attend ACPE17. They will also be responsible for providing the conference secretariat with each speaker’s short biographical paragraph and head shot.
